Upon submitting your registration information, please use the link to pay the tournament fee via PayPal.  Online registration and payment is preferred for the tournament; on-site registration will be on a space-available only basis.  No entry fee for players participating in their first rated tournament.

Please note that check-in will be from 9:00 – 9:30 AM.  Round 1 will begin at approximately 10 AM with 4 Rounds, G/30 d0 (Open and under 1400 sections will be G/45 d5). Subsequent rounds will begin once the prior round finishes for each section. 

Trophies and medals for the following sections:

  • Open

  • U 1400

  • U 1000

  • U 800

  • U 400

  • Unrated

Tournament directors reserve the right to combine sections if they are under-enrolled.

Where: PS/MS 282 Park Slope School
180 6th Avenue. Brooklyn
(between Lincoln & Berkeley)
Time: 8:30 am (doors open for setup and registration) – 4 pm (estimated time for conclusion of the event)

Schedule: 4 Rounds G/30, d0

‣ Check-In: 8:30-9:30 (If you arrive after 9:30, you will not be paired for Round 1)
‣ 4 Rounds: Round 1 – 10:00 AM Start
‣ Awards: When each section finishes!

We will have on-site registration from 8:30 to 9:30 AM for all
sections. The first round will begin at 10:00 AM. We will
begin each subsequent round once the prior round results
are recorded and new pairings are created. We hope to have
some sections start/end prior to their expected start/end
times. Award ceremonies will be staggered as sections
complete the final round and final results are computed.

Trophies for Individual 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Places. Medals through 8th place.

Our USCF certified Tournament Director reserves the right to combine sections if the number of participants suggests that is the best method of ensuring fair competition.

Ties for first place will be resolved through Blitz Playoff
