PTO fundraising plays a critical role in enhancing the educational experience for students and providing a thriving school culture.  By bridging the gap between limited public school funding and the needs of students and teachers, the PTO ensures that PS 282 can offer a well-rounded and dynamic education. The PTO also supports special events and initiatives that build community spirit and parental involvement. 

Our goal in the 2025-2026 school year is to raise $150,000.

CORPORATE MATCHING

Corporate matching is an incredible opportunity for the PTO to maximize our fundraising efforts. Many companies offer matching gift programs where they match the charitable contributions made by their employees to eligible nonprofit organizations, including schools. This means that every dollar donated can be doubled or even tripled, significantly increasing the impact of each contribution.
